Welcome to Skyline Studios

Skyline Studios was set up in 1994 and provides an affordable professional 48 track recording service. With two live rooms we can cater for all types of bands and our comprehensive midi facilities make it ideal for all types of programming work. As part of Skyline’s commitment to promoting new talent we offer discounted recording sessions to unsigned artists and young musicians. The studio has ample on-site parking and is situated minutes away from Epsom station. For our rates please see bottom of the studio page.

Skyline is a non profit making organisation and has received funding from Surrey Youth Development Service, Princes Trust and National Lottery Fund.

The producers

Jez Larder - Jez setup Skyline Studios in 1994 and has been engineering/producing the majority of the sessions since then. He has worked on tracks by David Bowie, Simply Red, Hazel O’Connor and Samantha Mumba and recently mixed 2 tracks "All Over Again" and "Freedom" for Estelle. Jez has currently been involved in the pre-production for Kristian Leontiou’s forthcoming album.

The engineers

Sam Booth – Sam has been working at the studio freelance since 1998 and has engineered & mixed projects ranging from rock to jazz bands as well as electronic music.
